There is a reason so many of us feel refreshed after being outside or taking a walk. Unfortunately, we can also spend the whole time we are enjoying the outdoors churning through thoughts in our head. Learning to practice mindfulness while you are outdoors can make those experiences more enjoyable and impactful. Nature has so much to offer to help us learn to connect to the present moment.

Although Mindfulness can be practiced anywhere, practicing in nature is my favorite.  As an outdoor enthusiast,  I have always had an appreciation for nature’s affect on well being. I love to guide people in finding joy and playfulness in the outdoors.  Nature meditation practice combines my two passions: Mindfulness and the outdoors.  When I am outside, it is easier for me to be present, even if I’m just in my own back yard. I have done extensive training on nature meditation practice in order to share the benefits of this practice with others.
